About Brittany Ford

Brittany Ford is a consultant for immigrant and refugee inclusion, language access, workforce development, and ADA compliance. She spent seven years in local government where she helped found and lead the nationally recognized Welcome Toledo-Lucas County (TLC) initiative. In 2019, Brittany led the project for Lucas County, Ohio to be designated the second county in the U.S. as Certified Welcoming for immigrants and refugees.

 

In her 20 year career, Brittany has worked across organizations in Detroit, Michigan, Toledo, Ohio, and New York, New York and was a 2020-2021 Robert Bosch Fellow in Berlin, Germany. Her clients have included the State of New Jersey Department of Human Services Office of New Americans, BerryDunn, Town of Brookline, Massachusetts, Bay Area Air Quality Management District, World Education Services, and Welcoming America. Brittany has a Master of Arts in International Educational Development from Teachers College at Columbia University and currently resides in Toledo, Ohio with her son Oliver and cat Fluffy.
